Isaac Rosenberg

Isaac Rosenberg (1890 – 1918) was an English poet and artist renowned for his Poems from Camp and Trench during World War I. His parents were Lithuanian Jewish immigrants to Britain; his ancestry and experiences during wartime shape the graphic tone of his verses. We feature his work in our collection of World War I Literature. [Isaac Rosenberg, self-portrait, 1910.]
